JUDAEA: Pontius Pilate, AE prutah. struck year 30-31 C. E. in Jerusalem. A nice entirely retrograde issue with a perfect lituus on obverse and a clear barbarous date 'SI' (instead of 'LIZ") with a wreath turning leftward on reverse. (1.97gm, 16mm) Very Fine.
