Ren prefix serial number 8592.Vertical format, blue woodblock printing on white paper, dragon and cloud border, various large size red handstamps, overprinted 'Reissued in Jiangbei in Year 11 (1861)'. Brush pen annotations and a few small size red handstamps on reverse. An extremely rare and sought after first year of issue that looks slightly different to the One Tael notes issued in later years. A crowning piece in any collection of Hu Bu Guan Piao. Immense interest expected on the day of the live auction. PMG Comments "Spindle Holes at Issue, Stained."
